BLUE!!

Hello, all, it has been quite a while since I have written on this blog, sorry. Also, I apologize for not commenting on people's photos in a while. And again, I'm sorry, cuz I didn't quite follow this week's photo challenge 100% accurately. I didn't really "go into town" to search...kinda just in my car. And instead of 3 photos, I did 4, but the fourth is mostly to show why I need the first three to begin with :-p Hope you enjoy!!

  1. The last is definitely the most interesting for me. Love the lighting and the angle you chose.

  2. Josh, you are TOTALLY allowed to break the "Rules" if it makes for a better set/photograph. You made the right choice here. Three photos would not have made the impact that these four made.

The lighting on the Aleve photo sort of bothers me. I think you took it at the wrong angle. The direct light doesn't help this image at all. Now you did take the shoe photo in direct light by there's more contrast and not so much of a washed out feel.

    Last Photo= diana's favorite.

I love that you picked something close to your heart. Maybe you should frame these with a pic of you pitching!

  3. As all the others have said the last phot is my fav... great angle, and it is a layer cake of blues; light blue in the back ground, medium blue then dark blue with accents of white. It makes for a visual pleasing photo. The textures are also wonderful; rubber, leather, holes, cloth, metal, air... you have so many elements working for you, the last one is a really great photo.

  4. howdy, JOshie!
nice set here- and it's definitely ok to add that fourth to complete the series!
I like the shoe shot the best, actually, so I am glad that you went with it.
For the aleve one, I think if you had taken it in the same manner as the shoe, it would have worked a little better- different angle, less washed out.
Anywho, I like that this series is not only related, but it tells a nice story, too.

    You're good at telling stories.

    see you soon.

  5. My favorite is your shoe! I love the angle...it looks like it could be in a magazine spread. The lighting is awesome.

  6. I agree with everyone on the shoe picture. It is really nice with the texture of the shoe and the different tones and the lighting. It's just a really nice picture. My second favorite is the compress because I like the curvy hilliness of it.
